What we collect
Nothing. traceless-style.dev is a fully static site — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and a small search index, all served from Cloudflare Pages. There is no application code on our end that observes you, no cookies set by us, no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no advertising network, no third-party JavaScript loaded for measurement.
We didn't add a noscript fallback to track JavaScript-disabled users either. The site simply works without JS — or it doesn't, depending on the page — and we don't measure which.
What's stored on your device
The site uses localStorage for two preferences. Both live entirely in your browser; we never read them from a server.
tl-docs-sidebar-collapsed— a JSON object remembering which doc-sidebar sections you collapsed, so you don't have to re-collapse them on every page.tl-dark— whether you chose Dark, Light, or System theme. Set by the dark-mode helper inside thetraceless-stylelibrary itself.
You can clear both at any time through your browser's storage panel (DevTools → Application → Local Storage). The site keeps working without them; it'll just default the theme to your OS preference and forget which sections you collapsed.
What Cloudflare logs
We host on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare records standard server- access data when you load a page:
- Your IP address — needed to route the response and to detect attacks.
- Your
User-Agentstring — for cache and compression decisions. - The path you requested and a timestamp.
- Whether the request succeeded, was rate-limited, or 404'd.
These are kept under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't operate any custom analytics on top of them, and we don't export them to any third party. Cloudflare retains aggregate statistics for billing and abuse-detection purposes; raw access logs are typically rotated out within days.
External links
Some pages link to GitHub, npm, the VS Code Marketplace, Open VSX, the Eclipse Foundation, and Cloudflare. When you follow those links, those services' own privacy policies apply — we don't control or share data with them. Some of those services may set their own cookies if you sign in. We have no visibility into that.
Contact-form submissions and email
If you write to team@sparkgoldentech.com the message lands in our Gmail inbox under the @sparkgoldentech organisation. Gmail's security and retention rules apply for as long as the mail is in the inbox.
If you submit the contact form at sparkgoldentech.com/contact, the fields you fill in (typically name, email, and your message) are stored in our backend database so we can review and reply to all incoming requests in one place.
We keep messages and form submissions until we've replied and the underlying conversation is resolved, then for a reasonable archival window thereafter (typically 12 months) so we can find context if you write back later.
You can ask us to delete a thread or contact-form submission you sent, and we will, within seven business days, unless we're legally required to keep it.
Children
This site is documentation for a software-development library. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because we don't collect data at all. If you're under 13 and reading developer docs in your spare time — that's wonderful; keep going.
Your rights
Because we don't store anything about you, there's nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. Cloudflare's logs are outside our control; you'd need to contact Cloudflare directly to exercise rights against them, and they offer GDPR-compliant data-subject-request handling.
For email correspondence with us, the rights described under Email Correspondence above apply: you can request a copy or deletion of any thread.
If this changes
If we ever start collecting data or add analytics — we have no current plans to — we'll publish the change here with the date, push a corresponding commit to the public repository, and update the "Last updated" line at the top of this page. The repository's git history is the canonical record of every change to this policy.
